I guess it’s time I check out the docs for Yahoo Maps instead of “Brand X” (Google?). I really like the fact that I could get a cookie, and that their maps won’t time out. I also really like the fact that I can send an address instead of a geo long/lat set. It may go a hair slower on their side, but it’s already super slow right now converting the long/lat using Google’s Java -> XML method.

I also just got a brilliant idea this evening, which I may have time tonight to start on. I might actually have time this weekend to work on a bit more, but we’ll see.
