I came back to work this morning after taking a few days off and visiting some family in SoCal. That was the first time in a long while that I’ve been to this heat-drenched part of the hemisphere. It was supposed to be warm and I was supposed to be getting a tan. Unfortunately, neither happened.
One thing I did get was fresh perspective on my life. I wouldn’t say it’s revolutionary or anything. It’s not Life 2.0. Maybe just revision v1.2. But here’s a few things I’m sure about, and that I intend to change to fit my loves and hates better.
- I love being innovative.
- I hate being a drone.
- I love flexibility.
- I am never stuck in one place (without God’s hand forcing me).
- I love travelling.
- I love other cultures and scenery.
- I love business.
- I hate chaos in business decisions.
- I love my wife.
- I hate working harder and not smarter.
- I love cheese.
- I hate indigestion and ulcers.
Time to make dreams come true.

Nate… we all know you can’t get a tan. Of course, there’s always prayer.

Well, just cause I’m not Persian doesn’t mean I can’t get a tan. I just have to get burnt before I get tan.
BTW, what’s with the “Love”? I mean, seriously, I have a wife.
