I think the problem for me is that you end up gathering a *lot* of information. The tables for the stats grow to be huge, and MySQL starts getting bogged down trying to collate the information. I've fallen back to using <a href="http://www.analog.cx/">analog</a> and <a href="http://www.google.com/analytics/">Google Analytics</a>. But I <em>really</em> wish that reinvigorate.net was up and running again. Based on what I've read on the re_ blog, it's going to kick some serious butt when it comes back online.
