TextPayMe is the cell-phone version of PayPal. Recently written up in Wired, the service probably has PayPal hot on its heals. Talk about a new and compelling service! Instead of using an email address to pay someone, just use the phone number.
Sounds like a revolutionary business to me. I can see this one making it mainstream very very easily. Especially, with all those wired (er.. wireless) kids out there with cell phones coming into their own soon. They’ll use this without hesitation.
