Invitation to Startup School

As I’ve mentioned before, I have been reading Paul Graham a lot lately. One of the things he’s involved in is called the Startup School. It’s a one day seminar by some amazing speakers such as Sabeer Bhatia (co-founder of Hotmail), Caterina Fake (co-founder of Flickr), Paul Graham himself, Om Malik, Tim O’Reilly, Joshua Schachter (founder of del.icio.us) and others.

Because of the big names associated with the “school” day, space is limited. I’m extatic to say that I applied and was invited to go. This kind of thing, meeting these kinds of people, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me and I’m so thankful that I was invited.

One unfortunate thing is that I may not have the funds to make it there. If you’re interested in donating to a just cause (namely, me being able to fly to Stanford and back), feel free to send some money via paypal to nate [at] perfectspace [dot] com, or contact me. I believe the trip would cost just under $500 for the round-trip flight. The rest I could take care of, but it’s the flight that doesn’t fit in the budget.
