Demanded: Hard-Fi in San Diego, CA

After getting Hard-Fi’s music (especially “Cash Machine”) stuck in my head for the next 12.3 years of my life, I decided, since I now know how cool this Eventful stuff is, to actually “demand” someone.

I haven’t been to a concert in years. I wish I could afford Dave Matthews Band, because I’ve heard they are absolutely amazing live. But, in lieu of having the clink to afford them, I’d like to ask Hard-Fi to come to San Diego, CA and play.

If there’s anyone out there who agrees, come join me and click the big yellow button that says “Demand It”. If you want them in your city, just go “Demand” them to come to your city.

I’m a Sucker for Remixes

I haven’t kept track lately, but I can tell the difference this morning. I came into work this morning, fired up iTunes and started my favorite radio station (mp3s get old too fast for me anymore).
1.fm.
I don’t really want to link to them cause they have ads everywhere [...]

Heterosexual Pride Store

I’ve had this idea in my head for a long time. I argued with my old college buddies’ girlfriends about the idea that it might come across as “mocking”. But, in the end, I don’t really care all that much. I figure that if I’m happy to be a heterosexual, I [...]

Bellingham Rental Search Engine Breaks 1000 Unique Visitors per Month (again)

PerfectSpace.com just hit a milestone (again). We’ve surpassed 1000 unique visitors this month. It doesn’t seem like a big deal to most people, but to us, it is.
In June 2004, we surpassed 2000 unique visitors per month. Then, the traffic trickled to a slow crawl until the business was brought [...]

Question for Landlords and Property Managers

If you’re a landlord or a property manager, I’d like to know something. What is your vacancy rate, where do you advertise, and how much do you pay for that advertisement?
I’m interested to know for a few reasons. First, I have a hunch that newspaper advertising still works. But, second, I [...]

Localogs.com Updated

I didn’t have anything to write about here today, so I figured I’d do something first, and then write about it. How’s that for faking the creative juices?
I updated Localogs.com a little this evening. I finally added links to the tag cloud so that you could click on a word for a particular [...]

Blog Traffic Increased x2

I used to be a stats-whore, checking them a few times a day. In the past few weeks I’ve trimmed that back to about once every couple days.
Tonight I noticed that over the past two days my traffic has doubled. So, I set off to find out why and where the [...]

Why MySpace Works (but Sucks Too)

Ever have one of those days where your brain just races over 30 subjects, unable to settle on one and focus? Yea, me too. This is one of those days, so excuse the sporaticalisciousness of this post.
MySpace sucks. No really. It does. Flame me, go ahead. But, it still [...]
