Stop Telling Me How I Can Do It. Tell Me Why I’d Want To.

This has got to be one of the most pertinent articles I’ve read lately.

Kathy Sierra from Creating Passionate Users writes a brilliant article and focuses on one thing:

Stop telling us about all your features. Tell us why we’d want to do them.

I think this pertains to Eventful in a ton of ways and can be boiled down to a page by page focus on what exactly users want to do on those pages. Without having a point to the page, you just get a lot of clutter.

So, here’s the question…. what do you think our home page should have on it?
