How do you know you’re successful?

Seth asks the question, “How do you know you’re brand or organization is successful“.

Personally, I have an RSS feed off of Technorati for all the projects I’m involved in. Additionally, I do google hacks to see what sites are linking to me that I don’t know about on an occassional basis. And last, at least once a week, I check the referring stats, see who’s new, see who’s sending lots of traffic to my sites, and go look at their sites to see what they’re saying.

How do you keep up with what people are saying about your brand?
