I don’t usually make a point to highlight gadgets too often, but this was too cool to pass up. Ted passed me this via IM today and I couldn’t believe my eyes.

There’s lots of neat little funny things that USB thumb-drives or pen-drives are made to look like, but this one is actually functional other than data storage. You can have AA batteries that are rechargable via a USB connector.

That’s great, especially for those of us who like to use rechargable batteries for our cameras and always have our laptop around, but don’t want to carry one more device with us (a seperate recharger).

Fun fun. I might even consider buying some.
