Over 600 Times

Thanks to God and his generosity and grace, our website now has reached over 600 unique visitors this month. I’m not sure how we made over 93 visitors yesterday, but that easily breaks our record of per-day unique visitors as well.

It’s funny, isn’t it? When you get obsessed over getting visitors to your website, you start checking the traffic each and every day. I get more and more excited over just 10 more unique visitors than the day before. I calculate averages and estimated totals for the month in my head. But, there’s still no money coming in yet. We could do advertising and get a few bucks. A fellow ex-classmate does that on a site he runs, but he gets about 10,000 visitors a month and only gets about $300 off his ads. I don’t think it’s really worth it. I don’t like ads. I don’t know anybody who really does. I’ve probably clicked on about 10 ads in my whole internet life.

I’d also like to point out that the last paragraph I just typed has all sorts of things pointing out how geeky I am. See if you can find them all. I count about 6 or so. *sigh*
