NuMetrex Sports Bra Won’t Cross Your Heart, But Will Monitor Your Heart Rate

Ever notice how sporting goods stores have become more about fashion than equipment? It seems that all of our local sporting goods superplexes have devoted about 80% percent of their reatil space to racks of sweat outfits and overpriced yoga suits, with a paltry selection of actual sporting goods lining the walls on the periphery. But at least one company is bridging the gap between sports apparel and spots equipment. The NuMetrex Heart Monitoring Sports Bra integrates a Polar heart rate monitoring system into the brassiere’s bottom strap, eliminating the need for women to wear an uncomfortable hunk of plastic around their torsos during workouts. We wonder if the same principle could be applied to some article of gender-neutral athletic attire.
