Update: California

We’ve arrived (in San Diego). Actually, we’ve been here for a week and 3 days.

It’s been a crazy week, that’s for sure. The stress of moving has been replaced with the stress of a new job, living arrangements, and issues with not knowing our surroundings.

Each day I travel 1.5 hours to work there, and then the same routine back. It’s a long drive. Luckily, we fixed the car’s antennae so that I can now listen to NPR about 2/3 of my drive. That at least keeps me awake. As much as I love living with Brandon and Cory, I can’t wait to move in closer to town. We’re looking at a decent area about 20 minutes from work and 5 minutes from the beach, but finding an actual place there will be interesting.

Anyway, I have some photos, but have to get back to work.

Don’t worry, though, we’re not dead.
