Bye-bye 2007, You’ve Been Good to Me

Well, it’s been fun. 2007 was a great year but we must move on. This is one of those summary posts people do at the end of the year….

Hey, wait a sec, you say. It’s not the end of the year yet!.

Bah humbug.

I’m taking the rest of the year off, like many of you. I’m heading North, to the land of the cold, dripping rain. It’s no wild fire up there. But it’s certainly chills you to the bone.

I don’t know if I’ll be posting anything from up there. I don’t expect to unless something hits me just right and I get access to some of that wonderfully flavored internet. So, for those of you who are keeping track, I figured I’d let you know what you’ve done for me lately.

You’ve brought me joy and happiness. You’ve been good to me, with links and love and link-love and love-link… wait, that sounds weird. Anyway, I’ve appreciated getting to know a lot of you better. Thanks to twitter, my social life has increased quite a bit too. I’ve met new friends, helped people I don’t know, given speeches and interviews, started projects, closed projects, started contracting after closing employment. It’s been great.

Now that we’ve done all that fluffy *sniff sniff, weep weep* stuff… I leave you with the cold hard facts and a hope that 2008 is 10x as good to you as it has been to me. To all my new friends…

I can’t wait to see what 2008 brings.
